Park times: Disney's published hours, last updated October 28, 2026 (all park hours). A dash means Disney hasn't published that time, or its Skyliner rule doesn't cover that night. Disney's bus and monorail rules count from "park opening" and don't say whether Early Theme Park Entry moves them earlier, so check the My Disney Experience app on Early Entry mornings.

Which resorts have the monorail, the Skyliner or a boat

Resorts not listed have no monorail, Skyliner or boat service on Disney's pages; Disney buses serve the parks from select resort hotels (see Buses). Disney publishes no ride times, so none are shown.

How it works

  • Disney's buses, boats, monorail and Disney Skyliner are complimentary for guests of select Disney Resort hotels; Minnie Van rides are the exception and are paid through the Lyft app.
  • Complimentary resort transportation begins 45 minutes before Disney theme park opening time and runs up to 1 hour after closing.
  • Not every route is direct: you may have to change to a connecting bus, boat or monorail to reach your stop.
  • For park-to-park trips Disney points you to Get Directions in the My Disney Experience app; the most direct route may combine bus, monorail, boat or walking.
  • Some areas of the resort are connected by lit, paved walking paths.

Monorail

  • The Resort Monorail stops at Magic Kingdom, Disney's Contemporary Resort, Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC).
  • The EPCOT Monorail and the Express Monorail start at the TTC and run express to EPCOT and to Magic Kingdom; the TTC is also a Resort Monorail stop.
  • The Resort Monorail and Express Monorail start 30 minutes before Magic Kingdom opens and stop one hour after it closes. The EPCOT Monorail starts 30 minutes before EPCOT opens and stops 2 hours after EPCOT closes.
  • Glass containers are not allowed on the monorail.

Disney Skyliner

  • The Disney Skyliner gondolas connect Disney's Hollywood Studios and EPCOT's International Gateway with Disney's Art of Animation, Caribbean Beach, Pop Century and Riviera resorts.
  • Disney describes the International Gateway station as a short stroll from the BoardWalk, Disney's Yacht Club Resort, Disney's Beach Club Resort and Disney's BoardWalk Inn.
  • The Skyliner opens one hour before Early Theme Park Entry begins at EPCOT or Hollywood Studios and closes 90 minutes after EPCOT or Hollywood Studios closes. On nights with EPCOT Extended Evening Hours it closes one hour after EPCOT does, and only the EPCOT to Riviera route runs in that last stretch.
  • After EPCOT closes, Skyliner riders can't get to the EPCOT parking lot; Disney says to use another option, such as a bus.
  • Disney has scheduled a Skyliner refurbishment closure from January 24 to January 30, 2027, with complimentary buses running instead.

Boats

  • Water launches run to Magic Kingdom from Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows and Disney's Wilderness Lodge.

  • FriendShip boats run to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios from Disney's BoardWalk Villas, Disney's Beach Club Villas, Disney's Yacht Club Resort, the Walt Disney World Dolphin and the Walt Disney World Swan.
  • The Sassagoula River Cruise runs to Disney Springs from Old Key West, Saratoga Springs, Port Orleans Riverside and Port Orleans French Quarter. Boarding at Disney Springs for a resort, you may be asked for a room key or a dining or experience reservation.
  • Most boat routes run every 15 to 30 minutes, and hours vary with water and weather conditions. No luggage or alcohol is allowed on Disney boats.

Buses

  • Disney buses run between the 4 theme parks, 2 water parks, Disney Resort hotels and Disney Springs.
  • Buses between Disney Resort hotels and the theme parks begin 45 minutes before opening and end one hour after closing.
  • Buses between Disney Resort hotels and Disney Springs run during Disney Springs operating hours and end one hour after it closes.
  • Resort buses from Disney Springs are for guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel or visiting one with a dining or experience reservation. You may be asked to show a room key or the reservation, and reservation holders can board up to 2 hours before their reservation time.
  • For Typhoon Lagoon, most resorts take a bus to Disney Springs and transfer. For Blizzard Beach, most resorts transfer at Animal Kingdom; Coronado Springs and the All-Star resorts have direct Blizzard Beach buses.
  • Some routes need a transfer. No luggage or alcohol is allowed on Disney buses, and strollers must be folded.

What this page leaves out.
  • Orlando International Airport transfers: none of Disney's transportation pages checked on 2026-10-28 describe an airport service, and we only publish what Disney's own pages say.
  • Door-to-door travel times between resorts and parks: Disney publishes none, and RopeDrop doesn't measure them.
  • Which resorts are served by Disney buses, route by route: Disney says 'select' resort hotels and points to the My Disney Experience app.
