Walt Disney World Dolphin
The Swan's bigger sibling — 1,500 rooms, serious restaurants, and the same walk-to-EPCOT location at Marriott prices.
Other On-Property Hotels EPCOT area $300–$550/night (Marriott)
The Dolphin is the larger half of the Swan & Dolphin pair — a 1,514-room Michael Graves landmark topped with twin 56-foot dolphin statues, run by Marriott on Disney's Crescent Lake. The value math is identical to the Swan's: walk to EPCOT through the International Gateway, stroll or Friendship-boat to Hollywood Studios, collect Early Entry and Extended Evening eligibility, and pay Bonvoy rates (minus the resort fee and parking you'll want to budget for). Its scale makes it the convention heavyweight, which means weekday deals when the meeting crowds thin out.
Where the Dolphin pulls ahead is food. Todd English's bluezoo remains one of the most ambitious seafood rooms on property; Shula's does the old-school steakhouse at full volume; Rosa Mexicano brings tableside guacamole; and the Fountain's burgers-and-shakes counter is a sleeper for families. Picabu handles 24-hour-ish grab-and-go. Add the Swan's Il Mulino and Kimonos across the causeway and the shared campus out-dines most actual Disney deluxes.
The shared grotto pool sprawls between the two buildings with a waterfall, slide, and multiple quiet pools; rooms are crisp Marriott-modern rather than themed. Like its sibling, park transport to Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom runs on hotel buses.
Who it suits: foodies, points-and-status travelers, and EPCOT-festival visitors who want maximum location per dollar. If you need Mickey on the headboard, this isn't that — deliberately.
