Citricos and Narcoossee's handle the special-occasion tier (the latter with fireworks views over the lagoon), 1900 Park Fare brings the character buffet, and the Enchanted Rose lounge mixes the prettiest cocktails on the monorail loop. Gasparilla Island Grill covers late-night quick service.
Rooms split between the main building's club-level dormers and the outer lodge buildings; the DVC wing and the converted Big Pine Key building add studios and villas with the same address. The beach hosts the Electrical Water Pageant nightly, and the marina runs fireworks cruises.
Who it suits: couples and special-occasion trips, monorail loyalists, and families who want the poshest version of the Disney bubble. Budget-watchers should look at Wilderness Lodge for deluxe feel at a friendlier rate.
