Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa
Victorian sasprings-town DVC across the lake from Disney Springs — walk to dinner, golf on site, treehouses in the woods.
Deluxe Villa (DVC) Resorts Disney Springs area $400–$850/night (or DVC points)
Saratoga Springs takes its cues from the upstate New York racing-and-springs town: Victorian pavilions in sage and cream, horse-country props, and the High Rock Spring pool tumbling over red rocks at the center. It's the largest Disney Vacation Club resort, and its trump card is geography — Disney Springs sits directly across the lake, reachable by a fifteen-minute waterfront walk or a short boat hop, which puts more restaurants within strolling distance of your villa than any address on property: the entire Springs roster, from Morimoto to Gideon's cookie line, is effectively your resort dining.
On-site, The Turf Club Bar & Grill does a quietly good steak-and-prime-rib room overlooking the golf course, The Artist's Palette covers counter meals, and the Senses Spa here is the full-service sibling to the Grand Floridian's. The Lake Buena Vista golf course threads the grounds, and deep in the trees stand the Treehouse Villas — sixty stilted three-bedrooms that are the most unusual sleep on property. Villas across the resort got refreshed in recent years; Congress Park section overlooks the Springs for the best walk-to-dinner rooms.
Parks are bus-only, and the resort's five sections make stop position worth planning — Congress Park and The Springs board early.
Who it suits: Disney Springs diners, golfers, spa-day planners, and DVC renters wanting big-resort amenities. Anyone whose trip is rope-drop-to-fireworks parks commando may prefer a closer-in address.
