Disney's BoardWalk Inn
Sleep above a 1920s Atlantic boardwalk — dinner, bars, and street performers downstairs, EPCOT a ten-minute stroll away.
Deluxe Resorts EPCOT area $550–$1,050/night
The BoardWalk Inn puts you upstairs from the liveliest quarter-mile at Walt Disney World: a recreated 1920s Atlantic City boardwalk strung with lights, midway games, and street performers, wrapping the southern shore of Crescent Lake. Step out of the lobby and dinner is a decision, not a commute — Flying Fish for the signature seafood meal, Trattoria al Forno for Italian, the BoardWalk Deli for breakfast sandwiches worth queueing over, Ample Hills-successor scoops on the water, and the AbracadaBar for a magician-themed cocktail before any of them.
The Inn itself is the smallest deluxe at Walt Disney World — 372 rooms plus the BoardWalk Villas' DVC inventory — and it feels boutique by Disney standards, with a seahorse-carousel pool (Luna Park, home of the Keister Coaster slide) and garden courtyards. EPCOT's International Gateway is a ten-minute waterfront walk; Hollywood Studios is twenty minutes the other direction or a Friendship boat ride. Like all Crescent Lake resorts, only Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom days require a bus.
Evenings are the differentiator: when the parks close, the boardwalk is just getting going, and the people-watching from a rocking chair on your balcony — or with a drink at the Belle Vue Lounge, all 1930s radios and gin — is the resort's quiet superpower.
Who it suits: adults, festival-goers, and night owls who want the entertainment downstairs. Light sleepers should request a garden view away from the boardwalk side.
