The establishment falls within the $ price range, meaning that meals are generally $14.99 and under per adult. The name Backlot Express itself provides a strong indication of its theming, which is inspired by the behind-the-scenes world of a movie studio's production areas. Guests dining here are immersed in an environment designed to evoke a working prop department or a studio's storage facility. The setting features various elements reminiscent of filmmaking, such as tools, equipment, and set pieces, creating an atmosphere that celebrates the creative processes of moviemaking. This unique theming offers a casual and engaging backdrop for visitors seeking American fare. It provides a convenient and thematically appropriate stop for those exploring the park and looking for a meal that complements the overall entertainment industry focus of Hollywood Studios.
