Disney World Dining Guide
From quick bites to signature dining — how to eat well and book smart at Walt Disney World.
Types of Dining
Walt Disney World offers four main dining categories, each with different price points, booking requirements, and experiences.
Quick Service
Counter service · $10-18 per entree
Order at the counter or via mobile order on the My Disney Experience app. No reservations needed. Found throughout every park and resort.
Table Service
Sit-down restaurants · $20-60 per entree
Full-service dining with a waiter. Reservations strongly recommended, especially for popular spots. Most accept walk-ups if available.
Signature Dining
Premium experiences · $60-100+ per person
Disney's finest restaurants. Counts as 2 table service credits on the dining plan. Business casual dress code required at most locations.
Character Dining
Meet characters during your meal
Characters visit your table throughout the meal. Extremely popular with families — book as early as possible. Available at breakfast, lunch, and dinner depending on the restaurant.
How to Make Reservations
Disney dining reservations (called "Advanced Dining Reservations" or ADRs) follow a strict booking window with big advantages for on-property guests.

- Resort guests: Can book your entire trip length starting 60 days before check-in.
- Non-resort guests: Can book 60 days from a single date only.
- Popular restaurants (Be Our Guest, 'Ohana, Space 220, Cinderella's Royal Table) sell out within minutes of the window opening.

Dietary Needs & Allergies
Disney is exceptional when it comes to food allergies and dietary restrictions. Every restaurant across Walt Disney World can accommodate special dietary needs.
- Common accommodations: gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free, vegan, and vegetarian options are available everywhere.
- Mobile ordering: Use the "allergy-friendly" tag to filter menu items when ordering through the app.
- Table service: Tell your server about any allergies — a chef can come to your table to discuss safe options.
- Character dining and buffets: A chef will personally walk you through the buffet and point out every safe option.
Money-Saving Tips
Disney dining adds up fast. Here are proven ways to keep your food budget under control without missing out on great meals.
- Share meals: Portions are large, especially at table service restaurants. Splitting an entree is a great strategy.
- Quick service for lunch, table service for dinner: Save the sit-down experience for the evening when you need a break from walking.
- Bring water bottles: You can get free ice water at any quick service counter — no need to buy bottled water.
- Snack credits are flexible: If you're on the dining plan, snack credits can be used on surprisingly large items at some locations.
- Eat breakfast at your resort: Resort food courts serve cheaper breakfast options than in-park restaurants.
