- Window: Mar 1, 2026 – Sep 26, 2026. Ride status comes from our own collector, which records every attraction's status and posted wait about every 5 minutes.
- Breakdowns: each time a ride went from operating to down (short flickers under 5 minutes are ignored). Overnight closures and refurbishments are not breakdowns.
- Rain: an hour counts as rainy when at least 0.5 mm of rain fell at the park gate that hour, from the Open-Meteo historical weather archive. Reanalysis rainfall is an estimate for the area, so a short local shower can be missed.
- Rate: breakdowns started per 100 hours the ride was operating, in rainy vs dry hours. A ride is listed when it had at least 3 breakdowns in rain, its rainy-hour rate is at least 1.5× its dry rate, and a binomial test puts the difference at p < 0.01.
- What this doesn't say: we can't see the reason Disney gives for a stop, only when it starts and ends. Correlation with rain is strong for outdoor rides, but a stop during rain isn't always caused by rain.
